Privacy Policy

The protection of your personal data is of particular concern to us.

In the following we would like to inform you about the type, scope and purpose of the collection and use of your data.
Access data and data storage

Every time you access a page on our website, and every time you call up a file or send a form, the browser you are using sends certain data to our server as part of its request. This data is used by the server to provide the requested content and is stored in log files in connection with server-side information about the (non-) fulfilment of the request. The data is only stored for as long as is necessary for the functioning of the website in terms of communication with the users.

The log file consists of the following data:

Time (date and time) of the request

URL of the requested content

IP address

Transferred data volume

Access status (file transferred, file not found etc.)

The data is used to enable the use of the website, e.g. to provide a requested page or file or, in case of access errors, to correct them.

The data will not be passed on to third parties, neither for commercial nor non-commercial purposes.

Input options

Within the framework of the Internet offer, there is the possibility at some points to enter personal or business data (e.g. e-mail address, name and/or address) in order to be able to use certain services (e.g. to request a callback). The communication of this data by the user is voluntary. The data transmitted in this way will be stored in log files of the servers used (e.g. e-mail servers for sending requested material) and will be used exclusively for providing the service described in each case.

Cookies

Cookies are small text files that are sent from our server to your computer and stored there. They can contain different information, which can be read by our server during the current and a future visit of the website and can be written with additional information.

We use cookies on various pages of the website to make visiting our website more attractive and to enable the use of certain functions, e.g. to enable you to select the language of the website and to take these into account.

In detail, the following cookies are used:

Session cookie

When you visit the website, a so-called session cookie is placed on your computer. This contains a sequence of digits which makes it possible to save the settings you have selected on the website on the server for the duration of your browser session and to assign them to the cookie. This allows, for example, all (sub)pages of the website to be delivered to you in the language version you have selected without having to select the language again for each of these pages.

This cookie and the server-side data assigned to it will be deleted after the end of the browser session.

Persistent cookie

In order not to show you our banner reference to the use of cookies within the framework of our web offer again after you have closed the banner, a cookie with the corresponding information is set when the banner is closed.

This cookie will remain on your computer until the expiry date unless you delete it. This period is 365 days.

Please refer to the relevant section of this privacy policy regarding the setting of cookies within the Piwik analysis tool.

Of course, you also have the option of using our offer without cookies. In the settings of the browser you use, you can determine whether you wish to accept the setting of cookies. Most browsers automatically accept them in their default settings. If you want to prevent the setting of cookies, you can select the corresponding settings in your browser, e.g. “Do not accept cookies” or similar. These can often be found under a menu item “Privacy” or similar. In this case we would like to point out that you may not be able to use all functions of our Internet pages to their full extent.

Matomo

This website uses Matomo, an open source software for statistical analysis of visitor access. Piwik uses cookies to enable a statistical evaluation of your use of the website, even over several visits. The information generated about your use of the website (e.g. which pages of the website are called up) is stored on our server in Germany and is not passed on to third parties. If an IP address is collected, it will be anonymized immediately after processing and before it is saved. You can prevent the setting of cookies by adjusting your browser software accordingly, as described under “Cookies”.

If you do not agree with the evaluation of the data about your visit to the website, you can object to this in the following. Your objection will be implemented by setting a cookie on your computer. Please remember that if you delete this or all cookies stored on your computer, the objection would have to be declared again if desired.

Social plugins

We use social plugins (“Plugins”) of the following social networks within the framework of our web presence:

“Facebook”, Facebook Inc., 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA

“LinkedIn”, LinkedIn Corporation, 2029 Stierlin Court, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA

The Facebook plugins are marked with a Facebook logo or the addition “Facebook Social Plugin”. The LinkedIn plugins are marked with a LinkedIn logo or corresponding LinkedIn lettering.

The plugins are “deactivated” by default. Accordingly, when you simply call up a page of our offer that contains such a plugin, no data is transmitted to the respective provider. Only when you activate such a plugin (by clicking the corresponding activation button), your browser will establish a direct connection to the servers of the respective provider. The content of the plugin is transmitted directly to your browser by the respective provider and integrated into the website.

After activation, the respective social network can collect data about you, regardless of whether you interact with corresponding buttons of a plugin. Through the integration of the plugins, the respective provider receives, among other things, the information that you have called up the corresponding page of our website after activation by you. If you are logged in with the respective offerer, the offerer can assign the attendance to your account there.

If you interact with one of the plugins, for example, by clicking the “Like” button on Facebook, the corresponding information is transmitted directly from your browser to the respective provider and stored there. Under certain circumstances, the information may also be displayed publicly or in a manner visible to third parties in the provider’s network.

For the purpose and scope of data collection and the further processing and use of data by the provider as well as your rights and settings options for the protection of your privacy, please refer to the data protection information of the respective provider. However, we expressly point out that we have no influence on compliance with the data protection regulations of the other providers.

Your rights

You have the right to receive information about your personal data stored in our company at any time. In addition to the right to information, you have the right to correct or supplement your data. Furthermore, you have the right to have your personal data deleted, if the reasons laid down by law apply and no other legal regulations contradict this. They can also demand the restriction of the processing if the reason is applicable. They have the right to receive their data in a structured, common and machine-readable format under the legal requirements or to transfer them to a third party. Furthermore, you have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority.
You may object to the processing of your personal data at any time.
